Skies for Miles is excited to announce our hAAPI pop-up event on Saturday, May 2nd! Celebrating AAPI month is so personal and important to us at Skies for Miles, not only because we are an Asian-owned brand/business, but also because we truly believe in bringing the community together! We plan to host a pop-up event where everyone can come out to support, talk with, and connect with small owned businesses while also celebrating hAAPI month.
We are proud to announce to our fellow supporters the vendors participating in our hAAPI May 2nd pop-up:
The first vendor we are announcing is someone who has participated in the majority of our pop-ups and has shown us so much support at each one: our favorite mom-and-son duo, Ange and Oliver. The duo is baking small-batch brown-butter cookies with a big heart. Who focus on quality, creativity, and uniquely crafted cookies because every cookie should feel special.

The next vendor joining us in the fun is the amazing trio at Club Marlo, which was founded by three lovely friends who shared a deep love for their pets and a desire to create something meaningful. They believe pet accessories should be fun, thoughtful, and as unique as the pets who wear them - each piece designed to celebrate your best friend’s personality.

Coming up next in the lineup is our oh-so-talented and creative friend, Three Suns Jewelry. Dani, a Fil-Am mama of three from Long Beach, started this brand to build a community grounded in accessibility, affordability, and connection. Every piece designed is inspired by meaning, beauty, and a little bit of sunshine!

With the rise of ceramics, of course, we had to invite the talented Clay Egg Studio by Danielle, a part-time ceramicist based in LA who makes ceramics to spark a bit of whimsy and joy in people's homes. We are positive you’ll find a ceramic you'll adore.

We also have Yahu Beauty joining in on the fun! If you love skin care, you'll definitely want to check them out! Created by a Taiwanese-American founder, Brittaney, Yahu Beauty focuses on safe, gentle, and reliable skincare for sensitive skin; rooted in Taiwan’s natural ingredients and designed without overcomplicating what skin truly needs.

Josun Matcha will also be in attendance. What better way to enjoy walking around the pop-up than with a refreshing drink in your hand? Kaitlin never thought that posting snippets of their daily matcha rituals would create such a stir; after several years of creating and sharing content about their love for matcha and tea culture, Josun Matcha was born. Each matcha is served as a reminder of the return of the morning time and the beauty of togetherness.

If you have been meaning to get a tarot reading, the amazing Reina will be at the pop-up! She is a lover of all things magical & spiritual! Tarot has helped her listen to her higher self and enjoy life. She hopes to make the world a better place by helping people find their happiness & listen to their intuition one reading at a time!

If you have been on the hunt for a good candle, Sach Goods will have you covered! Sạch means “clean” in Vietnamese - a reflection of both her commitment to sustainability and Tram's roots as a Vietnamese-American woman. Through scent, she wanted to share her experiences in a way that feels personal and meaningful, while also resonating with others.

Flash tattoos will be available by jukilli! Our talented and creative friend Julia will be doing them at the pop-up. Born and raised tattoo artist, she started tattooing as a practice to express her art and share the experience. Tattooing is a sacred art form of expression, and she is truly grateful for the privilege of meeting each person who wants a unique piece of art on their body for life.

Don’t worry about getting hungry at the event because Lemongrass Khmer Grill will be present!! Ramsey, a Long Beach native whose passion for food began with Mealsdotkom, a healthy, ready-to-eat meal delivery service. His mission with MDK has always been to make nutritious eating easy, flavorful, and convenient. Over years of serving this community, he discovered a deeper calling: to share my heritage through food. He wanted to introduce Cambodian flavors in a way that sparks curiosity and encourages people to explore authentic, traditional Khmer cuisine. This vision led to the Lemongrass Smash Burger - a Kroeung-infused beef patty topped with pickled papaya, cilantro, and jalapeño. Blending these bold Cambodian ingredients with a classic American staple is a true reflection of my identity as a first-generation Cambodian American.

These are all the talented and special vendors we have lined up for the hAAPI Market pop-up event! We hope to see you guys come out and support all the lovely people who are participating.
